About us
Allies United is a solution-oriented 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to strengthening safety, accountability, and justice for Indigenous communities impacted by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP) epidemic. Founded in 2025 and based in Joshua Tree, California, we work locally, statewide, and nationally to bridge the gap between Native communities and the community at large, so MMIP is met with informed action, not silence.
We exist to lift Indigenous voices, connect survivors and families to trusted support and resources, and identify and support Indigenous-led MMIP groups already doing the work on the ground. We also stand for greater tribal sovereignty and legal reform that protects Indigenous people and holds systems accountable.
Our impact is measured in people who feel seen, families who find support, and communities that choose action over silence. From the desert to beyond, we create spaces for truth, learning, and responsibility, so Indigenous relatives are never reduced to a statistic. Every march, circle, and conversation builds momentum toward awareness, partnership, and real pathways to safety, accountability, and justice.
